Easiest Way to Gain More Confidence

Confident women

I first learned of this exercise when I read the book "Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It" by Kamal Ravikant

People seek out a coach for various reasons. Some may want to make more money, while others may be frustrated with their dating situation. At the surface level they all seem like different reasons, however the core of these problems usually point to one underlying issue: Confidence Confidence is what gives you the courage to walk into your boss's office and ask for a raise. Confidence is what gives you the ability to ask someone out on a date, or to find the courage to start your own business. Here's an exercise I use with my clients who may be struggling with self-confidence, and it's surprisingly simple to do. Each morning, I want you to find a mirror and make eye contact with yourself. After you've established eye contact, I want you to say the following sentence: "I Love Myself" That's easy enough, right?

Don't dismiss the true power of this simple but effective exercise. Without fail, this one exercise is one of the most powerful tools I use with my clients to give them more confidence. Some of you have been so hard on yourself throughout your life that you may not be able to say it. Some of you will feel like you're lying to yourself and you won't be able to keep eye contact. For the next seven days, I want you to repeat that sentence each morning 20 times while making sure you maintain eye contact with yourself. It may be difficult at first, but keep at it. Each time you do this, it will become easier and easier. As it becomes easier, you may even start to believe what you're telling yourself. Try this for the next 7 days and let me know how you feel after the week is over. I'd love to hear your comments. If you'd like to take things a step further, reach out to me and let's schedule a call to see how I can help you to become the confident person you were meant to be.
